“The decision I made to hire Monika from MKG Designs to help me with my whole house renovation was one of the smartest things I did on my project. I initially thought it was a bit of an indulgence to have a designer, but her service and value went above and beyond what I expected a designer to provide.

Initially Monika stood out from the other designers that I had interviewed, because she offered her first consult free of charge, and she picked up on what my style was leaning towards without me actually being aware of it. She brought me samples, provided pictures of ideas, and helped me make decisions, so I saved a huge amount of time and stress compared to doing it on my own. She created layouts of rooms to make the most of the space both functionally and aesthetically. She listened to our concerns and wishes, likes and dislikes. She was mindful of our budget and tried to offer the most cost efficient option wherever possible, and she passed on her trade discounts which saved us a lot of money and essentially paid for her service in the end. She was always most approachable and nothing was ever too much effort for her.

Monika gave us the courage to make design decisions that we would not have been able to make on our own. The end result of all her work is a house that we LOVE living in. We are given so many compliments on our home when people come over. The spaces she created are an absolute pleasure to be in and love coming home to admire them!
